Hattie recommends using fine cottons for the lampshades, as this allows the light to shine through nicely. Our Indian cottons are an ideal weight, you can browse them \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/merchantandmills.info\/indian-cotton\"\u003ehere\u003c\/a\u003e. Because you don’t need to pretreat your fabric for the lampshade it is fine to arrive a little earlier to pick out your cloth downstairs. Or bring something with you – if you are unsure about its suitability then do email us before hand and we can check and advise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou will need 150cm long by 25cm wide. As Indian cottons are usually narrow at about 110cm, you will need to buy 150cm’s.
